In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 4.04 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(up 2.93 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 2.68 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.00 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
