Ram Navami violence: 130 arrested, 15 FIRs registered from violence-hit Bihar Sharif

In the violence-hit Bihar Sharif after the Ram Navami procession, Bihar Police on April 04 conducted Sadbhavna Yatra and raids throughout the day to restore normalcy in the areas. Raids are going on at the houses of the named accused to pressurize them to surrender. Police are also searching houses from which stones were pelted behind the cemetery in the Gagan Diwan locality. “The property of the accused will be attached. 130 arrests have been made and 15 FIRs have been registered. Raids are on. Efforts are being made to normalize the situation through Sadbhavna Yatra,” said Nalanda SP Ashok Mishra.
