IHG Opens Crowne Plaza Resort in Guam

(30/03/23)  IHG has opened its first hotel in Guam, rebranding the property which was previously known as the Fiesta Resort Guam.

Located in one of the most enviable vantage points on the white sand beach of Tumon Bay, the Crowne Plaza Resort Guam is within walking distance of Guam’s central shopping, dining and entertainment district, and only a 10-minute drive from Antonia B. Won Pat International Airport (GUM).

The beachfront resort, which underwent an extensive renovation before the official rebranding, features 321 guestrooms and suites; a Premium Club Lounge which serves complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks and evening cocktails; a choice of F&B outlets, an infinity-edge swimming pool, a family pool, kid’s club and 24-hour fitness center.

A wide variety of marine activities can also be accessed from the resort, such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking, a banana boat, jet skiing, dolphin watching and more.

The brand’s official debut in Guam follows the opening of the Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan in November 2022.

“We are extremely proud to be officially opening the first Crowne Plaza Resort in Guam and the second Crowne Plaza Resort in Micronesia, helping to open the gateway to new, world-class stay experiences for our guests,” said Thomas Mayrhofer, Regional General Manager and General Manager of Crowne Plaza Resort Guam. “Guam is a spectacular destination with its rich history, abundant nature, year round sunshine, unspoiled white sandy beaches and easy access through the continued opening of non-stop flights across the region. We very much look forward to introducing our beautiful new resort experience to local residents and visitors alike.”
