NIT organizes workshop on CNC programming

Nagpur: The mechanical engineering department of Nagpur Institute of Technology (NIT), in association with Indo German Tool Room (IGTR), recently organized a workshop on ‘CNC programming’ for the students. Vijay Kalbande, head mechanical engineering delivered the opening remarks.
NIT principal Amol Deshmukh urged the students to take maximum advantage of such programmes. Saikumar Nagrale, consultant CAD/CAM and Swapnil Sahare, engineer CAD/CAM, IGTR Trainers, provided hands-on practice on CNC programming software to the students.
All participated students visited IGTR, Nagpur Centre for more practical exposure on various CNC machines. The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Prof Vipin Khangar, workshop coordinator. Prof GP Dhalwar and Prof DP Gulhane worked hard for the success of the workshop. tnn
