Pay ₹25L compensation to victim of cow vigilantism: CPM

Mandya: The CPM Mandya committee urged the state government to pay compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the family of Idrees Pasha, a resident of Guttalu in the district, who died under mysterious circumstances after an alleged attack by cow vigilantes near Satanur in Kanakapur taluk in Ramanagara district.
In a press release, Krishnegowda TL, district secretary, CPM, alleged that Pasha was killed after being tortured with an electric device. He alleged that the state government is supporting the criminals. He blamed the RSS and Sangh Parivar for repeated attacks on cow traders. TNN
