4,255 criminals held in 10 dists of Udaipur and Ajmer range

Jaipur: Continuing its crackdown on the criminals across the state at least 1,000 policemen in 211 teams raided 794 places in Ajmer Range and Udaipur range of police and have arrested 4,255 persons involved in various crimes.
Ajay Pal Lamba, IG Udaipur Range and Rupinder Singh, IG Ajmer range sat at the control room and directed the SPs in their respective ranges to go for the raids.
“This is going to be a regular affair as these raids are also fetching us arrests of hardcore criminals. In past one fortnight we have arrested at least 10,000 persons across the state which included those who were part of organised gangs,” said Dinesh MN, additional director general(ADG), crime told TOI.
He added that those associated with violation of arms act, illegal mining, violation of NDPS act and those against whom a reward was announced.
