With a fresh and intriguing movie opening in theatres each week, the summer movie season began with the release of the Dasara film and is now anticipated to reach its apex this month. The success of these films after they are released is yet to be determined, but they have all created a lot of buzz in advance of their debut.

The first release in april will be the eagerly awaited Ravanasura film, with ravi teja playing the protagonist. All eyes are on this movie after Waltair Veeraya and Dhamaka were successful, particularly after the response to its recently released trailer. The film is helmed by Sudhir varma and stars five female leads, including Sushant in a pivotal position.

The movies "Meter" and "August 16, 1947" will be distributed the same week as Ravanasura. Even though kiran Abbavaram's "Meter" is being released by Mythri Movies, it is able to draw notice despite the lack of high expectations. The movie "August 16, 1947," which has the support of renowned director Murugadoss, is also drawing a lot of attention.

Shakunthalam, a film based on Kalidasa's Abhigyan Shakunthalam, will be released in the second week. Dev Mohan will portray Dushyanth, and samantha will play Shakunthalam in the lead role. The epic plot of this high-budget movie, which is being produced by dil raju and helmed by Gunasekhar, bodes well for its box office success. The same day will also see the premiere of Lawrence's Rudrudu.

Sai Tej will play the lead role in the third week's Virupaksha, which will be helmed by karthik Dandu and feature a script by Sukumar. Ahimsa or Bedurulanka may release around the same time as this film, but there is presently no competition in this time slot.

Finally, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyan Selvan-2, which has high expectations among telugu viewers, will be released in the final week of April. In addition, Surender Reddy's highly awaited big-budget film Agent, starring Akhil, is scheduled for release. The new film from vaishnav tej might also come out on that day, though there isn't any recent information on its progress.
