Uddhav talks of Israel unrest as Congress skips MVA rally

The rally was supposed to be a show of unity of MVA alliance partners, however there was embarrassment in store as Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole did not attend the function. Congress leaders claimed he was unwell.
Mumbai: The first joint rally of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav ), Nationalist Congress Party and Congress at the Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar saw Thackeray attacking the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. Uddhav spoke of the protests in Israel and said India too needs to resist attempts of the ruling party to control judiciary.
