PRAYAGRAJ: Making a powerful pitch for the return of the
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in upcoming urban local body polls in UP and 2024 parliamentary elections, deputy CM Brijesh Pathak on Sunday said that people have made up their minds to make sure lotus blooms with a thumping majority.
He said that the Modi government will win the third term in 2024 parliamentary polls and this hattrick victory will be written in golden words. Pathak on Sunday arrived in Sangam city on a two days visit and was interacting with party workers and leaders at the party’s headquarters in Civil Lines. He said, “ People of the country have made up their minds to wipe out rival camps completely and the popular welfare schemes launched by Modi and Yogi governments have won the hearts of millions.”
Pathak also discussed the poll strategies with party leaders and claimed sincere efforts are underway to map Prayagraj on top as far as development works and projects are concerned. He also made it clear that honour of the party workers will never be compromised and action would be initiated against those officials\employees who misbehave with party workers.
Stressing that fast-paced development was the need of the hour, he said the state government has taken up a series of development works and projects across the state. He also told party workers that urban local body polls are very important for the party and we should aim to win each and every booth with a good margin. Pathak advised party workers to connect with all eligible voters and apprisethem about people friendly welfare schemes being taken up by the Modi and Yogi led government at centre and state respectively. Those attended the meeting included Dilip Kumar Chaturvedi, Vibhavnath Bharti, Ganesh Kesarwani, Rajesh Kesarwani, Rajesh Shukla, Collector Pandey, MLC Nirmla Paswan and Phulpur MP Keshari Devi Patel.
