Rahul Gandhi to file appeal against his conviction over ‘Modi surname’ remark in Surat Court today

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on April 3, will reach a court in Surat to file an appeal in the court against his conviction that was awarded by a local court over his ‘Modi’ surname remark. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Rahul Gandhi’s residence in Delhi on April 3, from where they left for Surat. On April 02, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Businessman Robert Vadra held a meeting with Rahul Gandhi at Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi.Congress workers have gathered at the circuit house in Surat in support of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.Earlier, Congress leaders at different locations in the country demonstrated agitation against his disqualification of his membership from the Parliament and in demanding JPC probe into the Adani issue.
