CISF jawan found dead at Punjab-Haryana Secretariat in Chandigarh

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan, was found dead at the Punjab-Haryana Secretariat in Chandigarh on April 02. An empty shell of the bullet was recovered from the spot. “We got information about the incident at 4:30 am on April 2. The body of the CISF jawan was found on the spot and was taken to the hospital. In the preliminary investigation, officers haven’t told about the suicide. He was killed by his gun. We have recovered an empty shell from the spot. Police are investigating the matter,” Chandigarh DSP Ram Gopal said.
