Truck driver found dead in Latehar

Daltonganj: A truck driver, identified as Vikas Bhuiyan (28) of Manika block, was stabbed to death in a busy weekly market area under Manika police station limits in Latehar district on Friday evening.
The deceased bore multiple knife injuries in the neck, stomach, and back.
Latehar superintendent of police (SP) Anjani Anjan said, “We have begun a probe into the incident. The driver might have been knifed to death somewhere else and the body dumped on the weekly market area between Bazaar Tarn and Gurukul under the Manika police station limits on Friday. The place, where the body was found, is busy with the Friday village market and it isn’t possible to kill someone in a crowded locality.”
No arrest has been made yet, he added.
