Tripura all set to welcome delegates to the first G-20 event

Tripura's capital Agartala is all set to host the first G-20 summit in the state. The meeting of G-20 representatives is in Agartala from April 3. 70 delegates from 14 member countries will reach Agartala on Sunday to take part in the two-day meeting. Representatives of nine other countries will also participate in the meeting. Abhishek Chandra, Special Secretary, Tripura Industries Department informed the media that on Sunday, the delegates would visit Albert Ekka Park and Kumaritila Musical Fountain. In the evening, at the State Guest House, they will have a meeting with Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, officials of the Department of Science and Technology and members of the NITI Aayog. On Monday, there will be a meeting on the issue of “Clean Energy for a Greener Future” at the Hispania International Fairground. In the second session of the day, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Investors Summit. On Monday evening, the G-20 delegates will be shown a light and sound show at Ujjayanta Palace. After the meeting ends on April 4, the G-20 delegates will be taken to Oxygen Park, where they will perform yoga and then visit the Orchidarium. After Oxygen Park, the G-20 delegates will visit Pourbasa to see an exhibition of 60 handloom and crafts artists and Sepahijala Sanctuary. After dusk, they will enjoy laser light and a music show at Water Palace Neermahal.
