Nurse held for harassing senior citizen

MANGALURU: A 19-year-old home nurse was arrested for sexually harassing a 68-year-old male patient. The accused is Shivananda V from Gadag. According to police, on noticing a few marks on the patient, the family members placed a mobile camera secretly for recording on March 28.
Based on the recording, a complaint was filed the next day, following which the accused was arrested and remanded in judicial custody. It is learnt that the accused had allegedly threatened the senior citizen. A case has been registered under IPC sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 377 (unnatural offences) and 506 (criminal intimidation) at the Moodbidri police station.
