SSP Samba calls for stringent legal action against narco-smugglers

JAMMU: While chairing a narco-crime review meeting on Saturday, Samba SSP Benam Tosh directed police officers to take stringent legal action against narco-suppliers/operatives in the district.
The SSP directed all the supervisory officers, SDPOs and SHOs, to immediately arrest all the accused booked under the NDPS Act and complete all NDPS investigations without delay.
SSP Tosh also ordered the opening of history sheets and personal files of narco-suppliers/smugglers under relevant rules to prepare dossiers against the accused, besides obtaining information about illegal assets accumulated by them through the sale of narcotics.
