Himachal: Atal Tunnel in Manali receives fresh snow, attracts tourists to the region

Atal Tunnel situated at Rohtang pass in Manali received fresh snowfall on April 1. Tourists rushed towards the town to experience snowfall. Meanwhile, traffic was restricted after heavy snowfall in the area near Atal Tunnel in Lahaul Spiti. Higher reaches of Manali experienced heavy snowfall while moderate snowfall occurred near Atal tunnel, Dhundi and upper parts of Solang and Hamta received heavy snowfall on March 25. The region is still getting fresh snowfall. Earlier on March 8, the upper parts of Manali inlcuding Dhundi, Atal tunnel, Gulaba, Hamta, Rohtang, Marhi and nearby areas got fresh snow. More snowfall was predicted in the coming days.
