HM Amit Shah appeals to armed groups in Northeast to join mainstream, become a part of democratic process

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated various development projects in Mizoram’s Aizawl on April 1. Speaking at the inaugural event, he said, “At one time there was unrest and violence here. Today Zoramthanga is the CM of Mizoram. This is an example of the success of democracy in India. Today, there is peace here. I appeal to all armed groups in the Northeast to join the mainstream, become a part of the democratic process and give their contribution to the development of the region and the country.”
