Water supply to be suspended for 12 hours in Gurgaon

GURGAON: Parts of the city will see disruption in water supply for 12 hours, from 9am to 9 pm on Saturday, due to a shutdown for maintenance at the Basai water treatment plant.
According to the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, the shutdown is to replace non-return valves on the 1200 mm line at the water treatment plant.
Affected areas include sectors- 1, 2, 3, 5, 12, 14, 21, 22, 23, 23A, Palam Vihar and old Gurgaon. The development authority has advised residents in affected areas to use water judiciously.
