Bokaro: Chief minister Hemant Soren came to the rescue of a poverty-stricken youth of Gomia block who had tweeted that he was finding it difficult to pursue his higher secondary eduction.
Meet Ankit Kumar, a resident of Barkipunnu village, a school topper, came third in district and bagged ninth position in the state in the Class X board examination conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council. His earnings from selling toys in fairs were too meagre to pay for his fees at Rijunath Inter College. In desperation, the student posted his marksheet on Twitter and wrote to the CM asking for help. His parents are jobless.
Soren on Friday tweeted to Bokaro DC Kuldeep Chaudhary telling him to provide Ankit all possible help. Tagging Ankit, the CM said, “Ankit “@BokaroDc Please investigate the above matter and inform Ankit by providing all possible government help for his studies.”
