Private univ asst professor hangs self in hostel

JAIPUR: A 38-year-old assistant professor at a private university here hanged himself inside the hostel.
Police said the deceased was identified as Saumyabrata Nath, a native of Silchar in Assam.
Abhay Pratap Singh, a senior officer of FSL, reached the the scene along with his team and collected evidence.
A purported suicide note was also found in the same room. “The deceased in his final note claimed that he was in debt as some people took money from him but never paid him back," police said.
