Maharashtra govt working in undemocratic manner: Nana Patole

THANE: Congress leader Nana Patole has accused the state government to failing to work in a democratic manner and said they would soon approach governor Ramesh Bais and apprise him of the situation in the state. While addressing the media in Thane, the Congress leader also criticised the BJP-Shiv Sena government.
“They (BJP-Sena) toppled our government but are unable to handle the state. There is rising resentment among citizens which is reflected in how varied factions of the society are staging protests. We want to uproot such a government that does not function in a democratic manner. We will also meet the governor and apprise him of the ‘failing situation’ in the state,” Patole said criticising the rising attacks and threats issued to opposition activists.
