Adidas and Bape are celebrating their 20-year partnership with a year-long collaboration that will feature five unique product drops. The collaboration will coincide with Bape's 30th anniversary and will see a mix of iconic silhouettes infused with the Japanese brand's graphics and details.

The partnership began in 2003 with the release of the Super Ape Star. The upcoming collaboration will build on the brands' respective archives to create unexpected takes on timeless looks, the two companies said in a joint media release.

The first product drop of the collaboration is a new collaborative take on the Campus 80s sneaker, which will receive a playful Bape makeover. The classic silhouette will feature a Bape STA appliqué, replacing the Three Stripes, as well as co-branded details, gold heel patches, and gold lace jewels. The sneaker will come in a custom printed box.

To announce the partnership, an animated video has been released, revisiting Bape logos and signifiers, as well as key moments shared between the two brands over the years.

The collaboration will kick off on April 1, with a series of bold drops, content, and events planned for the coming months.
