Fadnavis may depose in JMFC

Nagpur: Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis may have to remain present in the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court on April 15 as an accused.
Fadanavis is facing allegations in the case filed by lawyer Satish Uke including that of criminal conspiracy. As an accused in the case, Fadnavis may have to depose before the said court.
Uke alleged that Fadnavis had not mentioned the two FIRs in his affidavit before the 2014 assembly polls. He also alleged that Fadnavis and his special executive officer violated the code of conduct by circulating a clarification on social media on the SC verdict which was to send the case back to the trial court. tnn
