    Share price of Colgate-Palmolive rises as Nifty strengthens

    Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. gained 0.41 per cent to Rs 1502.1 in Friday's trade as of 01:27PM (IST).

    The stock hit a high price of Rs 1506.0 and low of Rs 1493.75 during the session.

    The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 62.16 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:27PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.13 crore around that time.

    The stock of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1695.0 and Rs 1434.6, respectively.

    The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.52.

    Promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while FIIs held 21.11 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 7.12 per cent.

    Key Financials
    The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1301.68 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, down 6.94 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1398.76 crore and down 1.24 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1285.8 crore.

    Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 243.24 crore, down 3.6 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
