Recommendations for Biometric Attendance System

I need help finding a good biometric attendance system. I looked at some options on Amazon but they are very expensive and the reviews are not great.

Can anyone recommend a system that works well and is not too expensive?
Additionally, I have some old phones that are not being used, is there a way to use a fingerprint scanner and an app to mark attendance with these phones?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't use finger print scanner of phones for your purpose. Android doesn't let apps read the actual fingerprint.

The value series stores a lot of fingerprints and usually costs under 5K IIRC.

A lot of off-shelf ones are also available on Amazon, but I'd rather trust Hikvision. Their newer value models also have TCP/IP support, while most other ones only have USB support.

Appreciate the response! Can you please suggest a reliable source to buy one? I've checked Amazon and found only 3-4 options, but they lack reviews (except one with a few).
