Ministry of Cooperation begins computerisation of 63,000 active PACS across country

Stressing on the importance of computerisation of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in the country, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on March 30 in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar informed that the Ministry of Cooperation has started the computerisation of all the 63,000 active PACS in the country. Praising the state administration, the Home Minister also lauded the PACS Computerisation done so far in Uttarakhand. Computerisation of 670 PACS has been completed. Today, the work of computerising all the 63,000 active PACS of the country has started through the Ministry of Cooperation. Along with this, 307 district cooperative banks and many other things have been computerised,” the Home Minister said.
