It's Opening Day! Festivities for Cincinnati's favorite unofficial holiday kicked off bright and early Thursday ahead of the Cincinnati Reds' home opener.

The Reds play the Pittsburgh Pirates at Great American Ball Park at 4:10 p.m. Todd Frazier will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and Reds pitcher Hunter Greene will be the team's Opening Day starting pitcher.

Buildings in downtown Cincinnati were lit red early Thursday for the Cincinnati Reds and Opening Day.

What time is the Reds Opening Day parade?

The longstanding Findlay Market Opening Day Parade kicks off at noon. The 1.4-mile route will start at Findlay Market on Race Street, travel south, and turn left on Fifth Street before ending at Taft Theatre.

How to watch Reds vs. Pirates

Local 12 (WKRC-TV) will broadcast the Reds' home opener against the Pirates starting at 4 p.m. The "Reds Live" pregame show will air on the channel from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
