Ahmedabad may get light rain today

AHMEDABAD: The forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday indicated there could be light to moderate rain or thundershowers in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
Dry weather will likely prevail in the state from Friday after the western disturbance eases. A cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan persists as of Wednesday morning.
The maximum temperature at 36.6°C was one degree less than normal. At 22.1°C, the minimum temperature was 0.7 degrees higher than normal. The forecast indicates the maximum temperature is likely to fall further for 2-3 days by 2-3 degrees. The maximum temperature in the city has stayed below normal for a fortnight. tnn
