Govt to modernise 4,345 panchayat secretariats

Ranchi: The administration has prepared a blueprint to upgrade 4,345 panchayat secretariats to ensure seamless coverage of rural pockets by the services and schemes run by the state government.
Information and public relations department issued a press communiqué on Wednesday, stating that the modernisation plan includes access to paved roads, a pragya kendra, ATM, payment bank and a branch of Indian Postal Bank for the units.
