UP native held at Vasco stn in stabbing case

Vasco: A native of Uttar Pradesh was arrested at the Vasco railway station, while attempting to flee the state after stabbing a man, also hailing from Uttar Pradesh.
The accused, Pankaj Sharada, 21, a resident of Consua in Verna, stabbed Lavkush Dilip, 26, his roommate, on the evening of March 26 following an altercation, said Verna PI Diogo Gracias.
The victim has sustained grievous injuries.
Verna police tracked the accused to the Vasco railway station on Wednesday, from where he was nabbed while attempting to flee to his native village.
