Rajeev Shukla hits out at Ashwini Vaishnaw over his ‘corrupt leaders’ jibe at Congress

Congress MP Rajeev Shukla hit back at Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for his ‘all corrupts have come on one stage’ remark, which he made earlier on March 29. During his media interaction earlier today, Rajeev Shukla asserted, “He (Ashwini Vaishnaw) should think before making such statements and that he should not call Opposition corrupt collectively.” “Is Dr Manmohan Singh, Mamata Banerjee or Naveen Patnaik corrupt? I can take 10 more names who aren’t corrupt...I know it is his compulsion to say such things but he should think before...All ministers chant Rahul Gandhi the whole day...From where does OBC come in? He just took two names and those both aren’t OBCs,” said Rajeev Shukla. Meanwhile, MP Rajeev Shukla also commented on the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections in Karnataka. He claimed, “Congress will gain a landslide victory in Karnataka. There have been many corruption charges against the present government and that is why people there are desperate to vote against the present government in the state.” Earlier today, the Election Commission of India released the dates of the Karnataka Assembly polls and they are scheduled for May 10 and counting to be held on May 13.
