- The Delaware Senate on Tuesday approved a pair of House bills that legalize the possession of marijuana and set up a marketplace for legal cannabis sales.
- The bills now go before Gov. John Carney (Dem.).
- The legalization legislation and the marketplace legislation each passed both houses with enough votes that would override a veto from Carney, Marijuana Moment reported.
- The legalization bill would allow adults 21 and over to possess one ounce of marijuana. The other legislation would create a framework for a sales system for cannabis.
- Earlier in March, Oklahoma voters rejected a ballot measure to legalize recreational cannabis.
