DKS throws notes, courts controversy

Mandya: KPCC president DK Sivakumar courted controversy during Prajadhvani Yatra in Bevinahalli village on Tuesday evening as he threw Rs 500 denomination notes on artists who performed folk dance during his yatra.
As part of the yatra, he was leading a roadshow from the rooftop of a bus . When the artists sought money, he took out some money from his pocket, but as he could not reach them, so he threw money at them. After that, he put the remaining notes into his pocket. The visuals of the incident went viral on social media evoking mixed response from the public. tnn
