SI gives uniform to a woman to make reel, gets suspended

Kanpur: A sub-inspector (SI) of police was suspended after he allegedly gave his uniform to a woman to wear to make a reel. The incident came to fore when the reel of the woman wearing the uniform of sub-inspector Jugal Kishore, posted in the Reserve Police Lines, went viral on the social media and people started trolling SI and woman.
Taking cognizance of the matter, DCP Headquarters Tej Swaroop Singh, on the orders of the commissioner of police, got the video investigated. The name of SI Jugal Kishore was found in the uniform seen in the video. The woman wearing the uniform has made a reel with audio “Jitne ki teri car, utne ka mera juta...”, and posted it on Instagram on Monday. Along with the reel going viral, many personal pictures of the woman and the sub-inspector also went viral on social media. Taking cognizance of the matter, commissioner of police BP Jogdand suspended the sub-inspector and ordered a departmental inquiry against him. Police sources said that earlier also this SI was sent to lines with regard to obscene photos that went viral on social media platforms. DCP Headquarters said, “The SI has been suspended in this regard and a departmental inquiry has also been initiated against him. Such an act which damages the image of the police will not be tolerated at all.”
