Jaipur Development Authority seals building in Muralipura

JAIPUR: The enforcement wing of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has sealed a B+4 commercial under-construction building on Tuesday in Shankar Nagar in Muralipura under the jurisdiction of zone 6 of the civic body.
Officials said, the building was coming up at an area of around 334 square metre violating building by-laws. Officials said that when enforcement branch came to know that the builders were violating building bylaws, legal notices were issued against the builders in June 2022 and even in September 2022 and the building was sealed on September 8, 2022.
The builders then filed a petition at the JDA tribunal and the tribunal asked the enforcement wing to remove the seal in December, on condition the builders would remove the illegal construction.
