‘Aarti’ performed at Chhatarpur Temple on eighth day of ‘Chaitra Navratri’

Marking the eighth day of ‘Chaitra Navratri’, early morning ‘aarti’ was performed at Chhatarpur Temple in Delhi on March 29. Devotees along with priests performed ‘aarti’ with great enthusiasm and sought blessings of Goddess Durga. ‘Chaitra Navaratri’ is celebrated for nine days; nine ‘avatars’ of Goddess Durga are worshipped during these days. On eighth day, Goddess Mahagauri is worshiped by devotees.
