62-year-old man falls backwards off Sullurpeta flyover bridge in Andhra Pradesh

TIRUPATI: A 62-year-old man died in a bizarre accident after falling backwards from a flyover bridge at Kollamitla in Sullurpeta town in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
According to the local police, Ch Jayaraju — a resident of Vatrapalem locality in Sullurpeta town — who was crossing the flyover bridge at Kollamitla stopped his bike and sat on the parapet wall of the bridge.
And a few moments later, Jayaraju lost balance and fell backwards off the flyover bridge and succumbed to injuries on the spot.
People who noticed him falling down from the flyover informed the Sullurpeta police, who shifted the body for postmortem to the government hospital.
Police have registered a case.
