YSRTP chief YS Sharmila barred from inspecting Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad

YSRTP leader YS Sharmila on Tuesday was barred by police in Hyderabad from inspecting the facilities at Osmania General Hospital. "We will create a video recording of what is happening in Telangana and send it to the home minister, Prime Minister, and Chief Justice of India," she declared. "We want them to acknowledge the tyranny of KCR's government in the state." Sharmila emphasized that her party had fought tirelessly for the people of Telangana, and that she had personally witnessed their suffering during her padayatra."KCR has made countless promises only to secure votes, but he has failed to fulfill even one of them," Sharmila continued. "I am the only one in Telangana who is standing up against the corruption and misrule of KCR's government. Yet I have been obstructed time and time again." Sharmila had intended to undertake a "janata raid" to expose the government's shortcomings by visiting hospitals, schools, and hostels, but was instead placed under house arrest.
