Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 11:12AM

KRISHANA(up 0.45%) and Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.08%) were among the top gainers.

Bohra Industries(down 4.84%), National Fertilizer(down 4.67%), Madras Fertlizers(down 3.94%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 3.86%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.96%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.93%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.78%), G S F C(down 2.57%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.55%) and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 2.54%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 64.6 points up at 17009.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 208.37 points at 57735.47 at around 11:12AM.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.65%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.64%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.61%), Reliance Industries(up 1.56%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.35%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.34%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.88%), UPL Ltd(up 0.84%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.84%) and Cipla(up 0.8%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 2.42%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.35%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.91%), NTPC(down 0.81%), ICICI Bank(down 0.56%), Tata Motors(down 0.55%), Axis Bank(down 0.52%), Bajaj Finserv(down 0.34%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.32%) and Eicher Motors(down 0.16%) were trading in the red.
