1 killed, 4 injured in Ganjam group clash

Berhampur: A 37-year-old man was killed and four others, including two women, were injured in a clash between two groups at Sahadev Tikarapara under K Nuagaon police station in Ganjam district on Friday night.
Police said the rival groups allegedly pelted stones and attacked each other with bamboo and knives. The deceased was identified as Toffan Gouda.
“Though the exact cause is yet to be ascertained, preliminary investigation suggests previous enmity between the groups may have led to the clash,” said Saravana Vivek M, SP (Berhampur).
