The demise of filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar left actress Divyanka Tripathi in shock. The actress, who recently worked with Sarkar on the web series Coldd Lassi Chicken Masala and an ad, said he was a wonderful director and she enjoyed working with him. facebooktwitterPintrest

Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar's demise shocked the industry. Those who have interacted with him have a lot of interesting memories from their shoots. Divyanka Tripathi, who has worked with the filmmaker on the web show Coldd Lassi Chicken Masala, is still coming to terms with the fact that he is no more. The actress was seen attending his funeral on Friday.

Divyanka says, "He was a wonderful director, his shooting style was very different. He would place his characters and props in such a way that he was painting a canvas. His vision was through his monitor. I was at ease when I was working with him on the web show. Apart from that, I have worked on many ads with him too. He used to say, 'Tum humara TV ka Amitabh Bachchan hai'. I used to feel good when he complimented me. In fact I last shot with him for an ad just a month back."

The actress says that she will miss Sarkar. She says, "I used to enjoy being around him. We would have fun. I used to tease him by talking in broken Bengali and he would correct me. We used to laugh at it. I am going to miss working with him again. I don't know how it will be not having him around."

She had plans of meeting Sarkar, but now regrets that she didn't meet him. "I wanted to meet him and his wife whom we called bhabhi, but we were unable to execute the plan. I wish we had made met. I feel that we should never delay such things because we never know if we will be able to meet the person again," shares Divyanka.
