NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system in the Midwest will shift into New England
tomorrow, bringing a swath of accumulating snow to much of
Maine. Farther south, rain or a non-accumulating mix of rain
and snow are expected, for southern New England and New
York. Generally dry conditions are expected across the
Midwest, with just a few lingering snow showers in northern
Michigan. In the Southeast, stretching from Louisiana to
Georgia, showers and thunderstorms will develop during the
afternoon. A couple of storms may turn severe, with strong
wind gusts being the primary hazard. Farther west, a few
pockets of snow are likely in Wyoming and Montana, however
generally quiet conditions will be in place overall.
