Boy, 7, dies as private bus rams mother’s scooter

Mangaluru: A seven-year-old boy died after a private bus hit a two-wheeler at Bendoorwell Circle here on Friday. The deceased is Hardik. His mother Swathi is said to be in a critical condition.
It is said that the child was riding pillion with his mother when a private bus rammed the two-wheeler. The bus first hit a private bus, and, in the melee, also hit the two-wheeler being driven by Swathi. While the mother and child fell on the road, bus ran over the child.
Mangaluru traffic police have registered a case in this regard. TNN
