Centre awards 2 dists for reducing cases

Bhubaneswar: The Union ministry of health and family welfare on Friday awarded Puri district with a silver medal and Sambalpur district with a bronze medal for their efforts and initiatives towards eliminating TB. The awards were given at the One World TB Summit organised by the ministry in Varanasi on the occasion of World TB Day. Puri was awarded for achieving 40% reduction of TB cases, while Sambalpur was recognised for achieving 20% reduction.TNN
