Netflix is home to many people’s in-house entertainment. Most popular movies and web series from across the globe are available on the platform and are available at a touch of a button. But did you know that Netflix is going all out for gaming as well? Yes, you heard it right. In 2023, the streaming giant plans to expand its growing catalog of games by releasing them for your Galaxy and other Android phone.

In an official post, the company announced that it would add 40 more gaming titles to its platform this year and is working on 30 more with game developers such as Ubisoft and Super Evil Megacorp. Apart from this, Netflix is also home-producing 16 new games via its in-house gaming studio.

Netflix will launch a Ubisoft-exclusive Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace game on its platform

Netflix says that in 2023, it will release new games every month, including a Ubisoft exclusive Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace, which will be released on April 18.

Assassins Creed fans should also rejoice as Netflix is expected to launch a game from the franchise soon. Netflix is also reportedly working with UsTwo Games to add Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 to its platform in 2024.

Monument Valley game on Netflix coming soon

The main focus of the streaming giant would be to produce games based on the popular web series available on Netflix. For example, there is a game already available called Too Hot to Handle: Love is A Game, based on Netflix’s unscripted dating show of the same name. Netflix is planning to add a new season of the game later this year.

Netflix ventured into gaming in 2021 as it saw huge potential and has continuously expanded since last year. The company now has a total of 55 games in its gaming portfolio across different genres. The games can be accessed by launching the Netflix app on your iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, or any other Android phone or tablet.

You can simply search for the game and play it. For games you can play now or in the very near future, some new titles available on Netflix in March include Highwater and Terra Nil.
