New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s membership in Lok Sabha has been cancelled amid a conviction in the defamation case, where the Surat court sentenced him to two years in jail. While he is out on bail and Congress members are protesting against the order, Rahul Gandhi, the face of Congress is not a member of Parliament anymore.

Opposition MPs held a meeting at the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge’s office and marched to the Rashtrapati Bhavan with posters. Meanwhile, a few of the MPs have also been detained at Vijay Chowk.
