Jaipur: Chief minister
Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said the state government will organise more than 100 job fairs in order to create new employment opportunities for the youth.
Gehlot was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the mega job fair in Bharatpur on Thursday. The CM interacted with youths and provided offer letters. More than 60 employers participated in the fair organised in Bharatpur. He said employment opportunities will be made available for more than 10,000 youths. Offer letters were handed over to more than 1,300 youths on the spot in the first round.
“The state government is determined to fulfil the dreams of the youths. They are being empowered through education, employment and youth-centric policies,” said Gehlot. “Such job fairs are now being organised in every district to build confidence and improve interview efficiency of youths and create employment opportunities for them in the private sector,” he said.
Gehlot said Rajasthan was leading in the country in providing employment to youths in private and government sectors.
“Now, RIICO industrial areas are being established at the sub-division level as well. This will enable the youth to get employment at the local level,” he said.
