Amid Opposition ruckus for JPC, Lok Sabha passes Finance Bill without any discussion

Even as the Opposition members were adamant for a JPC to probe the Adani row, the government got the Finance Bill 2023 passed in the Lok Sabha on March 24. The Bill was passed without any debate and with several official amendments. Even as the House was taking up the Bill, Opposition members were in the well shouting slogans and holding placards demanding JPC on Adani issue. The House was adjourned till March 27 immediately after the Bill was passed.
