Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to move Finance Bill in Lok Sabha today

The Lok Sabha is likely to clear the Union Budget 2023-24 today without any debate. Amid logjam in the Parliament between the government and the Opposition, the second half of the Budget session has almost been a washout with the Houses being adjourned amid din almost daily. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will today move Finance Bill in Lok Sabha today, which will in all probability be passed without debate. The Parliament session could be adjourned sine die after this.
