A 38-year-old Bronx woman was found dead in bed, apparently beaten to death, police said Thursday.

Lisette Gomez’s cause of death will be determined by an autopsy but police believe she was beaten about the face and neck and are treating her death as a homicide.

The victim’s boyfriend was being questioned by detectives but it is not yet clear if police believe he is the killer.

Gomez’s body was found in her bed Wednesday by someone she knew, police said. Police got a 12:43 p.m. 911 call and responded to her apartment on Cauldwell Ave. near Westchester Ave.
